Tamil Nadu alleges that the hospital that conducted the surrogacy of Nayanthara violated the rules
The Tamil Nadu Health Department has found that the hospital that conducted Nayanthara’s surrogacy violated the rules. The health department found that the hospital had failed to maintain treatment records and violated ICMR norms. A show cause notice has also been issued to the hospital to avoid closure. At the same time, there is no failure on the part of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan in the report of the health department.
The hospital did not keep the details of the surrogate pregnant woman. The doctor who provided the necessary guidance and assistance for this was unable to testify as he had gone abroad. Officials have checked the records of Nayantara and Vignesh Sivan’s earlier marriage and found that both are not guilty in the matter. The couple was found to have passed the legal surrogacy period.
Nayantara and Vignesh announced that they were parents on October 9. Later, many people came to the stage to congratulate both of them. But along with happiness, the star couple also got into controversy. The Tamil Nadu government had also ordered an inquiry into whether the actors had violated surrogacy rules. The question was whether a couple who had married four months earlier could carry out surrogacy. Meanwhile, Nayantara revealed that they had registered their marriage six years ago
In the affidavit given to the Tamil Nadu Health Department, the star couple had revealed that the process of surrogacy had started last December. Marriage register documents were also submitted along with the affidavit. According to the law, surrogacy is currently not allowed after six years of marriage. There was a controversy whether the star couple violated this. Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara got married on June 9. Both of them got married after seven long years of love.
